Here's what to expect when you visit one of our hearing aid centers
Greetings
When you first arrive here at Posey's Hearing Aid Center you will be greeted by one of our friendly office staff who will provide you with a client analysis chart. This is to obtain a history of your hearing problems. You may also enjoy a cup of coffee and refreshment while completing this form.
Meeting Your Hearing Aid Dispenser
Once you have completed the short form you will meet with one of our hearing aid Dispensers. It is important for the hearing aid Dispenser to know where you are having problems, the kind of environment you frequent, your social habits, and of course your expectations. From there they will perform a number of tests to determine the level and nature of your hearing loss.

Explanation of Findings and Recommendations
Our hearing evaluation is thorough and accurate. We will test your hearing, assess the health of your middle ear, and inspect your ear canal on a video monitor. We will also provide a detailed description of your hearing loss. Findings and recommendations will be made at this time. If amplification is warranted you will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the latest technology in hearing aids. We have a variety of hearing instruments to choose from to insure that we suit your individual needs. A specific hearing instrument program will be recommended for you at this time.
If our testing indicates a medical condition in your ears, we will refer you for medical assistance.
